We are proud to announce that “The Writers Brigade” has joined us as a new contributor to our website. The Brigade is made up of a group of talented writers who also happen to be AAC users. The AAC-RERC is a Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center that functions as a collaborative research group dedicated to the development of effective AAC technology. The first of three articles introduces you to the Brigade, the second introduces you to Leigh Lightholder one of the talented writers in the Brigade and the third article is an in-depth study of “Promising Practices in Overcoming Communication Barriers” in healthcare settings with an introduction written by Leigh Lightholder. We look forward to many more offerings from this talented group!
