Press Release: There's a New Mouse in Town!

The next level of human interface for computers has arrived!  LaZee Tek LLC proudly introduces its premier product offering the "LaZee Mouse Pro, a hands-free computer mouse.  This product has been developed in response to a growing demand for hands-free computer access.  The combination of sensor price reductions and emerging miniaturization of electronics has allowed us to produce the first full-function, self-contained mouse emulator device!  The unit was developed as a generic mouse emulator to be platform independent as well as position independent, while being easy to operate.  It requires no software or drivers to be loaded by the user, a true plug & play device.  A single USB cable is the only connection required to the host computer.

The "LaZee Mouse Pro", provides full cursor control in addition to click and drag capabilities.  These features are controlled directly by the user, real-time, without the need for special clicking software, dwelling, cameras, reflective materials or special positioning.  The "LaZee Mouse Pro" is self-contained, and worn by the user.  It is most commonly positioned on top of the user's head in conjunction with a headset, but is not limited to that location.  Alternate locations include back of hand/wrist mounting or anywhere the user is able to operate the device.  The unit weighs less than two ounces (excluding cable(s)) and is credit card size by about 1/2 inch thick. 

The user tilts the "LaZee Mouse Pro" in the desired direction of movement to achieve cursor movement.  The unit provides proportional cursor speed depending upon the degree of tilt provided by the user.    Left click, right click and drag commands are performed via the microphone input.  Sound is detected, decoded, and processed by the unit, which then sends the appropriate button commands to the computer.  "LaZee Mouse Pro" is shipped with a standard headset microphone, but is not a requirement for usage.  Numerous microphones on the market with a standard 3.5 mm plug can be utilized with it.  Desktop, lapel, collar, or boom-mounted are just a few of many styles of microphones available.

Sound is detected & processed much like Morse Code!

• One quick short sound will produce a left click
• Two quick short sounds will produce a double left click
• One long sound will produce a right click
• One long sound-extended will produce a right click plus drag function
