Jumpstart Math for Kindergarteners is a fun and exciting program designed to introduce kindergarteners to eight basic principles of math. This software is relevant to Early learning Math concepts. This software would be particularly relevant to Kindergarteners or those children that are entering Kindergarten. I also believe that it would be suitable for slower learners that might be just beginning math or fast early learners.

Students join Hopsalot the rabbit as the child prepares for Guthry the Giant's surprise birthday party. Through positive comments from the colorful cast of characters and by collecting birthday candles as rewards, students are encouraged to continue playing. After 100 candles are collected by the student, the party begins.

The eight basic math principles are introduced in party themed activities. Students learn:

Other special features include: 32 page printable "Activity and Discover Book" - to go beyond the computer. "Kids Tutor Technology" - Help students in area's that the child needs additional help.

As always this Jump Start program is well written, entertaining, challenging, and very engaging. All of our children from 5-8 have enjoyed playing it. Even though the content was below our older children, the program was so great that they enjoyed playing, and helping us to review this software. Both graphics and sound are excellent.

We feel that this program is a must if you are looking for a comprehensive way to introduce your children to many basic math concepts in a fun, positive and educational way.

The only drawback with the product is we have had some difficulty exiting the program. We are not sure however, that our children are having this same problem, they seem to do fine.
