If not, please encourage them to attend a Kurzweil 3000 for Windows "Foundations Workshop" on Tuesday, February 1 in East Hartford, CT.
Workshop Description
In this six hour, hands-on training workshop, K-12 and Postsecondary teachers and support staff new to Kurzweil 3000 for Windows, as well as those with minimal experience, will explore scanning, reading, writing, and study features and learn how to apply them in the classroom to help students:
• Improve decoding and study skills
• Build vocabulary
• Complete worksheets and take tests
• Become better writers and editors of their own work
Attendees will also learn how to access existing digitized materials and the vast resources of the internet as well as create new curriculum materials with Kurzweil 3000 for Windows.

Dates: Tuesday, February 1
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM - Sign-in begins at 8:00 AM
Location: Connecticut Computer Services, 809 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108
Cost: $175 per person - Includes lunch and AM and PM refreshments
