Training Modules Available from TATN

At the CSUN Conference in March I discovered that the Texas Assistive Technology Network (TATN) has developed a series of training modules that are available free on the web for you to download in PDF form. There are modules on:

Considering AT in the IEP Process
Providing Assistive Technology: A Legal Perspective
Technology Supports for Struggling Readers
Providing Assistive Technology Services: An Administrator's Perspective

These are excellent content rich modules and that contain trainer documents that include Power Point presentations, transparency masters, and trainer notes. Materials for the participants include Power Point notetaking guides, and resource guides. A few items in the training modules relate particularly to Texas, but most of the material applies to practices throughout the United States.

We got a chance to look at examples from all four of the modules and I was very impressed with what I saw!
